Inappropriate? That sounds like a less than ideal user experience. :-/
Can you let us know your OS and the version of Songbird you're running please?
I’m sorry

Inappropriate?I'm using Songbird 1.2.0b1, Build 1120 (20090602130430)
on Windows XP SP3 -
Inappropriate?Hey deadlyr,
Looks like you'r having the same issue all these folks had: http://getsatisfaction.com/songbird/t...
I'm going to merge your topics. 2 solutions are posted there that may work for you, but our hunch is you'll need to re-install the file.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?I used the command of the other post and then I reinstalled SB but it didn't work.
To be more specific:
This error is shown when there are left a few seconds to finish the current song, after this, it inmediately skips to the next song, and when I press continue (or X) on the window that has just appeared, it skips to the next song another time, and the circle starts again.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Got the same issue, but with Vista, 32bit. I have tried reinstalling SB, no difference.
Version: Songbird 1.2.0, Build 1146 (20090616030043)

Inappropriate?I have the exact same problem on Windows XP SP2.
On every file I open, I get that error. If I continue playback, it plays the next track instead of the one I wanted. It's frustrating that I can't directly listen to the song I want, because if I double-click on it, it gives me the error mentioned above.
I’m a bit frustrated

Inappropriate?I get the weird impression that the more add-ons I disable, the less frequent the error is. If I disable most of the add-ons, the problem is gone. The errors are most frequent with the 'Now Playing List' add-on enabled (http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/96).
But even if I disable this add-on and enable all the other ones, the error still pop-ups frequently. So is this perhaps in some way performance-related?
When I disable most if not all of the add-ons, playing works like it should.
Halp!?
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?Hmm, you could try running in safe mode to confirm and isolate the problem add-on. When you conform which it is, you can comment in the add-on page direct so the author can address the bug causing the interference.
More on safe mode in our First Aid pages.
I’m hopeful
