Faulty Files?
Why won't the new songs i download from the birdhouse play? All the new songs I download have just not played and skipped to a track that does. The files will play in windows media player, but not songbird.

have the same issue, songbird skips most of my music files i converted to mp3 - other players (media player, winamp, iTunes) play it! Hope somebody can help me...thanks!!

Inappropriate?I had a similar problem for which I found the solution here.
The trick is to disable the add-on Windows Media Playback, then restart Songbird.
Maybe worth a try?
