Whenever Songbird is updating the library/managing it/searching for album artwork, Songbird tells you by having a popup in the middle of the screen. These popups are annoying and make it impossible to navigate your music while songs are being added or whatnot. iTunes has these same messages but instead of using the popups, they put the messages at the top where the media info for the playing song/video appears. This would alleviate the problem.

Songbird should have an autotagger, maybe a built in version of Musicbrainz Picard or something.
