Feature suggestion: Gain for files with no normalization info
First of all, thank you very much for implementing the scanning of ReplayGain tags for volume normalization (in Songbird 1.1.1).
Now the problem is that ReplayGain has a certain reference level which makes most files lower in volume. Therefore, files with no RG tags will sound much louder (I found on average this is about 6-7 dB).
A further, small, improvement would be a slider in options --> playback with which you can adjust the gain for files with no RG info. The user could set this on -6 dB for example, to avoid large volume differences in files with and without RG info.
Foobar2000 has this option (you can even set two gains, one for files with RG info and one for files without!).

Inappropriate?Great Idea Bug80!
It will come..... The Songbird Team implemented Phase 1 of the Normalisation for 1.1.. Phase 2 is next, which will include options and such for setting gain info for files..
