Field for "Album Artist or Artist"
Could there be a virtual field that uses Album Artist if it exists and Artist otherwise?
That way I could tag compilations with Album Artist as "Various Artists", for example, and still be able to sort by Artist on single-artist albums.

Inappropriate?I always fill album artist. I use various artists for compilations and band name for albums.
I always use the album artist field in songbird. Works great!
