Folder Watch Adv Playlist
I had made a post earlier about folder watching, being specific that it should be added as an option to create playlist. But folder watch was just added as a function in the library.
Is it possible to have an actual "folder" watch per playlist so that i can just place a song in the appropriate folder and have it automatically appear in songbird?

I’m hoping for more adv options, otherwise im sticking with itunes

Inappropriate?I think they will add more options to watch folders once it has proven to be stable in the current basic implementation.
However, a way to achieve what you want (although it is a bit of work), is via smart playlists. Make a new smart playlist with condition:
'Source file url' 'contains' 'Path/to/watch/folder'
Check 'auto update'
And that should do the trick.1 Comment

isn't working :/
the directory is
D:\My Music (1)\Alternative\Alternative - Pop
i selected 'Source file url' 'contains'
and then inserted the directory folder and checked auto update
tried restarting songbird, still no luck -
