Inappropriate?G'day, Songbird 1.4.0 adds significant improvements to MTP support, it may be worth giving the beta a go (its available from http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Develope... ).
Hopefully, it should work (I think MTP support currently needs windows though). -

Inappropriate?I remember to have a similar problem some day with my MTP device (Nokia E63 phone). First it worked, and it was broken some day on the nightly build. And several days later, it worked again (can't remember the regression window though). Anyway, Songbird 1.4.0, Build 1322 (20091015173741) works for me now.
There were some development work going on with the MTP part. So I'd suggest to upgrade your build to the latest and try again. -
