Inappropriate? What Songbird version and OS are you using?
It works fine for me with Songbird 0.7.0 on Mac 10.5.4 Intel.
When playlist is created in iTunes, importing the iTunes library creates the same playlist in Songbird service pane under Playlists node.
I can open and play the files with no probelm.
Pleae, explain what exactly you have a problem with.

Inappropriate?when i first installed SB it was on 0.6 and now i've installed 0.7 beta. i'm using Mac 10.5.
i imported my whole itunes library when it was installed (0.6) but it didn't display my playlists. i've tried exporting it as every format that itunes can export too but SB does not respond.
i've resorted to manually recompiling my playlists, but after about 2 mins aborted the mission, went outside and tried to bring down my fever (which can only be brought down but my original playlists... or more cowbell).
any idea? i could always just reinstall it?
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Ok, I have Songbird 0.7 beta. I've switched from WinXP and iTunes to Kubuntu and Songbird: here's my problem. I have successfully imported my playlists (HUNDREDS of them; I do NOT want to lose them all) into Songbird. The songs in the playlists don't play. I think it has to do with the directory structure changing from Windows to Kubuntu (C:Documents....My Music over to /home/tarahmarie/..../My Music). What do I do?

Inappropriate?Just in case this is as simple as editing an XML library, here's the location of an example song from my original iTunes library: a Notorious BIG song at: <key>Location</key><string>file://localhost/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Tarah/My%20Documents/My%20Music/mash/Notorious%20B.I.G/The%20Notorious%20B.I.G.%20full%20discography/2Pac%20&%20Notorious%20B.I.G.%20-%20Trapp%20-%20You%20Never%20Heard/Trapp,%202%20Pac,%20Notorious%20B.I.G.%20-%20Let%60s%20Be%20Friends%20feat.%202%20Pac.mp3</string>
This is the full line of the location key from the iTunes library XML file. Were I to edit it, what would I do? Please, if you're going to tell me to edit it to point to the new location, write it out, b/c I'm too new to Kubuntu to understand any assumptions you might be making about what I do and don't know yet (I barely understand the directory structure yet).
