Can I clarify if you are referring to the iTunes software, or the Songbird itunes importer. As this section of Get Satisfaction is for Songbird only.
Normally Apple will give you a few days after purchase of free phone support directly with them, or if you have the Applecare protection plan, a lot longer.
I’m confused as to if this is actually related to songbird
