Help Me Please =] Syncing your IPod
If you have deleted the songs out of the library and sync the songs you want to add as extra will all of the other songs on you ipod delete so the only songs on are the ones you have just synced ?

Inappropriate?There are three options under Sync settings:
1. Sync all music(default)
If you hit sync, it will sync with whatever is in a library, so it can delete the songs that already on your iPod.
2. Selected playlists
You can select what playlists you want to sync with(still deletes songs from iPod).
3. Manually manage
This is the only option in your case!!!
You can either create a playlist with a new songs and sync with tha, or simply select songs you want to add and drg-n-drop them onto iPod library node in a service pane.
meaning of Sync is to syncronize on list with another.
If you only need to add 10 songs, don't sync, just add them manually.

you listed the 3 options of syncing your ipod
this means I'm not blind
I was looking (for the non existing?) option 4:
in iTunes you could "tick off" songs that you wanted and thus "leave those behind" you didn't.
Is there anything like this in songbird?
or only the "all-or-nothing" method?
only "all music" or "playlist" - 2 rather extreme options I think.
I used to mark the songs I didn't want on my ipod anymore with one star - whenever I connected my ipod i sorted the library by rating and checked if any "one star song" was ticked off - If so i changed it - and synced.
plus - my ipod hasn't got enough space for the whole libray - and playlists only is rather boring.... kills the shuffle option.
if this "ticking off" is not yet available - is there an add-on?
It is the easiest and fastest way to organize the songs on your ipod/computer. -
