Inappropriate?On Mac:
Songbird > Preferences > Import
On Windows:
Tools > Options > Import
Or..if you have an XML file:
File > Import a Playlist > point to XML file -
Inappropriate?Already tried that

Sorry, first part of my post should have been: Have you tried the iTunes Library Importer addon? Check it out here: http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/9 -
Inappropriate? When I try to import, Songbird doesn ́t recognize the iTunes library file (in OSX, filename is grey and not selectable ...). Any idea ?

Inappropriate?Have the same issue too. I only get a window that says "Scanning..." and then does nothing (i.e. the progressbar stops moving)
Btw, I'm on a XP sp3 machine. And also, I'm not really using iTunes but I've exported my media library from winamp through a plugin to an iTunes xml. -
Inappropriate?I opted to try out Songbird on my work PC because iTunes does not support the 64-bit version of Windows XP and have tried in vain to get my iTunes library imported. All of the media files are in the music folder created by Songbird and I have even edited the XML file created by iTunes to set the correct path. Songbird loads the metadata, but is never able to find the media files. Importing an iTunes library using the iTunes Music Library.XML file should be a straightforward process, but clearly is not.
