Resetting your Songbird profile returns Songbird to it's default settings.
Songbird's developer wiki has the details for Windows, OS X and Linux:

Your library exists in your profile; so you can't. -
Inappropriate?I think I need to uninstall Songbird and reinstall it again. Here's my problem. Songbird seems to move along with my mouse everytime I block and drag on it. At first i could solve it by moving my mouse very slowly and it would work just fine. But last time, I made a sudden move and I didnt know how I place the application outside the screen (my mouse cant even reach it) but I cant drag Songbird back to my screen. (I am using Mac btw). I can press F9 and see that Songbird pops up from the corner of my screen (still unreachable). I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it a couple of times but every time i start up, it always starts exactly on the place where it was located before, even with same homepages that I set.
Please help me.. I really like Shoutcast on Songbird and this browser-media player is very handy and looks beautiful on my screen.
I’m confused AND SAD AND SOOO FRUSTRATEDD.. Ppl plz HELP meee...

Inappropriate? Please tell me in what way that link is for "instructions" to remove?!?
The thing says a line of code and that's it. No, delete this, here's how to find this, do this. That's not instructions. Even posting a link to that and expecting everyone to know what to do is extremely retarded. Iidiot. -
Inappropriate? It's not really - if you didn't understand what it means, you only have to google it or ask politely. I have no background in code so when I was given that link to delete my profile I instinctively put it in the run line (I'm on XP) but clearly that didn't work as there's spaces.
If you're on windows you need to use the command from a command prompt.
Start > run > "command" > Enter. This will give you a command prompt.
Then the command:
rd /s "%appdata%\songbird2"
it will then give you a y/n confirmation - you can skip this with a /q [quiet] after the /s if you like.
The %appdata% is like an internal link to the path of where your application data is stored. songbird2 is where songbird profiles are stored within that folder.
I hope this is helpful for you, if not, let me know :)
It's good to have you aboard dude, and I hope you like songbird as much as we do - as a little pointer, the community here at GetSat is really very friendly and helpful but you are -far- more likely to get the answers you want if you show, to quote Aretha, a little respect. Generally, insulting Rob Lord probably isn't going to be your best bet seeing as he is the founder of Pioneers of the Inevitable who created songbird. Bit of a legend in these parts, you know. Lastly, learn to spell idiot or you'll look a lil silly yourself :P
I’m pleased to help and hope I have

Inappropriate? Thanks for the kind words, and sorry for being harsh. I did actually know how to complete the task myself, it's just for other people it was extremely vague and rather silly to post such a thing when this is supposed to be a helpful answer.
And obviously the idiot was a typo :P
Thanks. -
Np :) and you're right, sometimes not everything on here is as clear as it could be - but usually there's someone who'll break it down ya'll where necessary - which is great for me because generally in life i have no idea what I'm doing! -
I have to agree that tip was not super intuitive or user friendly but I'm a bit late to this party as Tim and Michael have both showed you how we've tried to simplify that info. :0) Welcome to the community! -
