How do I install Flash in my Songbird?

hi today adobe installer prompted me to install the update and after that, i can't seem to watch any flash player on songbird even after i uninstalled and reinstalled adobe player and songbird. if adobe player is installed, it can be run on internet explorer but not songbird. i tried using the method as it has been solved before, it shows the installation process but disappeared once the installation is completed, i think it's not compatible with songbird v7? i'm using window xp, songbird v7

the errors received while installing was that it couldn't be copied to the various folders. help?
