How do I stream to a Shoutcast server from Songbird?
I've just downloaded Songbird 1.0 for OS X today and everything seems to be working fine, except that I can't find how to stream to a Shoutcast server.
I was pleased to see that it was listed as being a built in feature
"SHOUTcast Radio:
Stream music using the integrated SHOUTcast Radio directory."
but I cant figure out how to actually use it. Nowhere on the internet seems to know either so I thought I'd ask about it on here.

As long as you agreed to Songbird installing the recommended add-ons when you first installed, then you should have on the Service Pane (on the left) a heading titled "Radio" with "SHOUTcast" listed underneath. If you select SHOUTcast the library should be replaced in the content window by the SHOUTcast directory, where you can search for and stream SHOUTcast radio stations.
If SHOUTcast is not in the Service Pane, then go to Tools > Add-ons, then click "Get Extensions" at the bottom of the window. From the Songbird Add-ons page, search for "shoutcast". Click the "Install" button next to the SHOUTcast Radio add-on. Once you restart Songbird, the program should function as mentioned above.
If this does not solve your problem, please chirp back, and I will help you figure out a solution.

Inappropriate?Thank you for your reply but that isn't exactly what I was looking for.
I was attempting to stream my music TO my Shoutcast server so that other people could tune into my station and listen. However after re-reading the Songbird website I believe I was mistaken when I thought Songbird was able to do this.
Thank you for your help anyway :)
