How do I update from Songbird 1.0 to Songbird 1.1 on Ubuntu?
I currently have Songbird 1.0 installed on my Ubuntu (8.10) computer. I have gone to getsongbird.com and downloaded version 1.1.1 for linux, but I don't know how to install it.

I tried that. 'Check for updates.....' is grayed out. (Is that a feature of Ubuntu? Because its the same way with Firefox) -

if you installed from DEB try this other one, it will replace the old version.
