How do I update / rescan my library?
How do i update / rescan my library? I have made metadata changes (in another program) that I would like my songbird library to reflect.
I have looked for the answer and can not find one - sorry if this seems easy/stupid....

Inappropriate?Rescanning libraries is not yet implemented but is coming.

Inappropriate?But it's simple.
If you run 0.6.1, you'd have to delete your library and by doing "File - Scan for Media", you just rescan the whole thing.
If you run 0.7 (nightly's at the moment), you can just do the scanning, without having to delete your library first, as it will scan for duplicates.
Deleting your library, you could simply click one song, then hit "Ctrl+A" (or Strg+A on German Keyboards) and then hit del or right mouse click, remove.
Then your list is empty and you rescan, as stated above.
Works just fine.
Tyler out!

Thank you!
I am running 0.6.1.
I deleted my entire library (3700+ items) (sadly caused a crash... but did delete) and then did a file - scan for media.
It worked but took awhile...
Hopefully a future release will have a 'rescan library' and a 'delete library' button.
Love this program though and looking forward to its development!
Thanks again. -
It's all coming together nicely!!! As I mentioned, it is being worked on, to streamline the whole library management. Just sit tight and bare with us. All next releases are going to be awesome and imho 1.0 will just rock. Tyler out!
