How do I use Songbird with my existing WMP files so I can properly see the tagged information?
I'm exploring using Songbird as a front end for my home media system. I'm currently running Windows Media Player on Vista. All my files are full WAV, because I'm playing them through a high fidelity stereo system with an external DAC.
First question: When I fired up Songbird, it imported all of my files, but it doesn't recognize the WMP tags. Is there a way for me to get it to do that? I deleted and reloaded Songbird but it immediately woke up with the files again, how do I clear them and start over?
Second question. A small subset of my files are HDCD, which require 24 bit output. Is this supported by Songbird, and if so, where do I set this?
Thanks. I hope to be able to use Songbird because I'm really impressed with the lyrics capability.
