how to drag and drop playlist song order ???
I can't seem to be able to drag and drop songs in my playlists to change thier order of play back. I a cd of a talk that has 70+ tracks to it (actually it is multiple cd's) and I ripped them to mp3's via iTune's along time ago. I created a playlist in songbird and dragged and dropped the containing folder to the playlist and they were all imported in random order. I would like to drag and drop them into the correct order with having to import one track at a time. Any idea's? If this is not supported it needs to be...Thanks

Inappropriate?Do the "File > Scan for Media" and add them to your library and see, if that does the trick, rather then dragging and dropping them.

Inappropriate? This is silly. Is there no way to order the songs in a playlist? If I want to start a playlist to start with Moonlight Sonata followed by Voodoo Chile followed by Black Betty why can't I arrange the songs this way? What good is a playlist if I can only sort columns alphabetically. Why isn't there an index field for each item so that I can set the songs position in the playlist regardless of the way its spelled. This is a drag-n-drop kind of thing. I shouldn't need to go to "File>Scan..." or re-create anything. This is remedial functionality. This is Music Player Interface 101.
