how to play wma on linux
I have songbird 1.1.1 on arch linux, but i can't play wma files. i can add the files to my library but I cant play them. Then it gives a internal stream data error. My whole library is wma(200GB) So converting is no option.

Inappropriate?I have your answer here, oh struggling n00bs:

I’m amazed nobody has searched for an answer but chose to whine about it here instead.

Yeah, except that THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM.
I can add them to my library. They do not play. As the question states. Adding the thing to that .js file did nothing to change anything. Thank you for your patronising comment. -
I'm amazed you posted an answer apparently without reading the problem first, VS Dude. -
Inappropriate?Also, changing the .js file didn't do anything. I don't think that's the problem since I can add the .wma files to the library. They just don't play.

Inappropriate?The script in /opt/Songbird/chrome/content/songbird/scripts/coreGStreamerSimple.js
does not exist in Version: Songbird 1.1.2, Build 1042 (20090331141709)
Well I cant see it in the directory. to add insult to injury there is a script called coreGStreamerOverlay.js in the xlu directory that that calls the coreGStreamerSimple.js in it's final line as shown below.
src="chrome://songbird/content/scripts/coreGStreamerSimple.js"/>
If anyone finds a resolution please update
I’m confused
