I can't just play from my library in v1.0?
When I double click on a track in my library to play it it gets automatically added to the "play queue" list and plays there. I have to do very strange things to get tracks to actually play from my library, like double click a song to put it in the "play queue" list, then clear the play queue list, then select the song in my library, and then press the "play" button. Is this strange inability to play from my library purposeful, and if so, how can I get around it?

Are you referring to the Play Queue that is created using the Now Playing List Add-on? Last I checked, that add-on had yet to be updated for full compatibility with v1.0. Also, as the Now Playing List add-on is one of our many community-created add-ons, any questions or issues should be directed to its author here.
Hopefully there will be a fully 1.0-compatible release in the very near future.
