I downloaded something but now i cant get songbird at all
I had the .07 version but it had me download something while i was listening to music.....im not sure exactly what was downloaded, but all i know is now i dont have songbird at all any more on my laptop.....i click on the songbird icon on my desktop, but NOTHING happens at all...did something get completely deleted?...when i clicked on the "download songbird" thing on this site, it downloaded something but now i dont know where the file went nor how to open it up...i have linux and when i click on the songbird icon on the desktop, NOTHING happens.....help

Songbird 0.7 is notoriously old (in fact, it was a beta). Its possible you downloaded an update I guess.
If you did download an update, your problems may be related to incompatible settings, so the only suggestion I can give is to delete your songbird settings (rm -rf ~/.songbird; rm -rf ~/.songbird2).
If you aren't running 1.2, you should probably upgrade to it anyway. You'll have to reconstruct your library in Songbird, but the reality is, your version has never been actively supported (because it was a version released whilst Songbird was still under heavy development).
Just a suggestion though..
