Inappropriate?Yes, yes it can. But only sloppy up until now. Just try it. try to open anything with it. I think i ran some divx stuff at some point. At the moment and in future iterations it foremost will be all about music first. Then we'll see, what video has in store.

Inappropriate?Video playback is really sloppy (it opens in another windows and its hard to get out of it, most of the time it crashes and you have to end songbird from the task manager), and untill they get that fixed out, use another player
i would suggest Media Player Classic or VLC media player for the files that dont work with WMP, Realplayer, divx or quicktime (although all video formats should be covered within these 4 players. also, make sure to install these, they also have valuable plugins which you can copy over from the mozilla plugins folder to songbirds plugin folder as well as flock and seamonkey)
you can find both players at www.filehippo.com
PS. No flv?? -
Inappropriate?hmmm. Boris, it's just not happening with mov. i hope video gets pushed up the priority list. for me i hear the video, but no image, the separate image window is blank, and stranger still the controls for it are on the main player. they show the video playing. but it's sound only.
I’m awwww.... no good.
