Impossible to keep an updated music library

Guys! I really like Songbird but I gotta ask you what happened to the library update process since version 1.2 !? I tried that version on two different computers and keeping an updated music library has became a nightmare. Well... to be honest, not anymore; I simply gave up to wait for the next version. Even if I empty the library and reload all the songs again, it simply does not work! And what is that "reload" function? It seems to do absolutely nothing! What about a "refresh" button to ask Songbird to check for new files or deleted files?
