Input fields must physically be a bit taller

I have faced a small problem in the user interface :)

To see it, do the following things:
1. Open metadata edit on any track (by Ctrl+I)
2. Point cursor to the year input box.
3. Move the cursor to the highest point where it is still looking as text select cursor (the stick with serifs, don't know how to name it :))
4. Click — the year field will not receive focus.

I found that there is 3-pixel-height unclickable area a the top and at the bottom of each input field.
