I was just wondering if songbird might be able to eventually support sync with Zune devices.

Long answer is have you tried downloading the MTP add on yet?
The devices we have tested for compatibility are listed here. If you don't see your device, it doesn't mean it won't work, it just means that we haven't had an opportunity to test it yet.
Give it a shot and you tell us! If you don't have a free bugzilla account, signing up is quick and easy and will allow you to share your feedback directly with the development team.
As a side note, it is possible for your device to start working through future versions of the MTP addon without us working directly with your device. If device support is a critical issue for you, please check back with Songbird in a future release.

Inappropriate?What we REALLY need is Zune under Linux.
The Zune software works beautifully under Windows.
I just don't like Windows anymore, as I find it hopelessly boring and ugly compared to Linux...

Inappropriate?I'd really love to use the MTP add-on and try see if the Zune works with it, but when you install WMP11 it requires you to to do a Windows Genuine Advantage check and well...lets just say I'm a little stuck.
So...please make an add-on just for the Zune!
