iTunes 9 homeshare alternative
Hello,
Apple has launched iTunes 9 today, and it sure has some nice improvements.
One particular thing I like is the homesharing feature.
It's a feature that allows you to easily share your library with other computers on your lan network. And when you watch the library on another pc, you can drag & drop tracks to your own library to copy them etc.
It would be so great to see this in Songbird.

Inappropriate?ok ignore my above post. it seems to be an easier way to do what you could before so i guess will work the same (i.e. purchased music can only be authorized on 5 machines)

I guess songbird could implement something similar, though would you still limit sharing to 5 people so as not to get on the wrong side of the music biz.

Inappropriate?also, this is the fourth or fifth time I've seen some sharing system suggested and then stifled because it's "not good enough". Unfortunately, if someone gives me a sharing process that's okay, when songbird just doesn't have one at all, I'm going to go use that.
