Inappropriate?I experience the same problem, only some playlists work, others are completely messed up (my Radiohead Playlist now consists of a single Richard Cheese track, and it puts Maximum the Hormone in other playlists while leaving out about 99% of the songs that were supposed to be there). I also experienced this flickering of playlists that show up and vanish instantly.
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate?None of my playlists were imported. I believe this may be because all my playlists are smart playlists. This wouldn't bother me actually, but I am trying with no success to do something similar in Songbird.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?mine are just plain stupid playlists, for I never used the smarty playlist thingy (I just used it for the first time to see what it does), so that can't be the problem.
I’m losing patience

Inappropriate?some of my playlists are smart playlists but there the ones that came with iTunes, I'm wondering if since the importer doesn't support smart playlists do you think iTunes library can't have any at all?
I’m unsure

Inappropriate?Company marked problem as solved but I don't see an update here and I'm having this problem too. Using latest ver Songbird (Version: Songbird/0.7.0 (20080819113227) (2008072921) Build 716) on Mac 10.5.5.
Import command sees .xml file, then does nothing. Wha?
I’m wondering

Inappropriate?I have the latest version 1.0.0 and it hasn't imported the smart playlists that I've created. itunes default ones such as most played and purchased are there though. Also, if they playlist is in a separate file then I could add them through that way but I couldn't find a separate xml file similar to itunes for that.
I’m slightly annoyed

Inappropriate?I just installed songbird. It didn't import playlist from itunes at all, which annoyed me. I am used to use playlist rather than genre or anything else to sort my music.
I’m frustrated
