Inappropriate?Hello,
What is the error you receive?
Although I wouldn't put much stakes on getting this solved.
The portable version you use isn't developed / supported by the people behind songbird....
I also can't really imagine the advantage of a portable songbird, as you would also have to carry all your music with you. -
Inappropriate?what the hey. do you not realise that having a portable music player in an mp3 player is just the thing. you know the software and can easily use it on someone's computer so you don have to try fumble around trying to figure out there program. its quite have really. it also saves space on the host computer if you have portable programs installed on flash drives.
there are lots of reasons why people would use portable music players.
I’m confident

Hey,
Yeah, but if you play the music from an mp3 player, than most of the features aren't really usable, as there is no library being saved.
But anyway, to come back on the problem, can you give the exact javascript error? -
Inappropriate?true so a portable vlc media player will do just fine. but when songbird comes up to scratch and becomes the music player it should have been before getting side tracked with Firefox style web browsing then it will be useful.
and if they cut out the web browser altogether and separated the media player it would cater for people that dont need for the web browser side of things.
