Keeping Songbird open without a Taskbar Button
is there an addon to turn off the taskbar button when Songbird is running? It doesn't have to be implemented as part of the main programme but more as an option. Some people wanted to be able to control the programme through the taskbar and they got it. So how about use folk who'd like to not have a taskbar button at all without having to use Minimize to taskbar. I keep my player open 90% of the time. It would be nice to not have to see the taskbar button.
I’m frustrated that no one has addressed this yet.

Inappropriate?Currently there is no way to do it, even MininimizeToTray can't hide the button when Songbird isn't minimized.
But I would love to know, how this could be done, too. I need this features for my Pure Player :-)
It's certainly possible to develop such an Add-on with xpcom, but that's too difficult for me... if there would be a way to do it without xpcom, you could count me in, but I haven't found such a possibility... :-/
