Last.fm plugin won't scrobble songs destipe Metadata being corrected
When using the Last.fm plugin with Songbird, it refuses to scrobble songs which the Metadata is blank with. For example if a song is named "02 - toxic" with no info about artist or album then it doesn't scrobble it. This is logical.
BUT WHAT ISN'T LOGICAL is that even if I edit the metadata about the file and type in the artist as well as album name, it refuses to scrobble. This is very annoying since one of my favourite bands can not be scrobbled. Any tips for how to solve this problem?

Inappropriate? After having gotten in touch with Teryo over IM it turns out he was trying to scrobble a song with the metadata title ending with ".mp3". For some reason, this refuses to be scrobbled. Perhaps it is a safety measure on last.fm's part or perhaps it lies somewhere in the last.fm add-on.
In any case, if anyone happens to stumble into problems with scrobbling, be sure to check the metadata thoroughly so that it does not contain an fileformat suffix.

Inappropriate?nothing to do with metadata -- scrobbler is broken for lots of people, last.fm doesn't care.
