Latest songbird randomly "stutters" during playback

I have the latest non beta version of Songbird, and this is my problem. Occasionally after a while of playing music (noticed it happening in mp3s and m4as), or sometimes right after starting it up, songs will randomly stutter for not even half a second, but JUST enough to annoy the heck out of me. This can happen anywhere from twice to twenty times during a song.

I consider myself an audio nerd.. I only download songs that are -v2 or higher quality, and I know that this problem isn't at the ripping level. Repeated playback yields different stutters, and playing back on Foobar or WMP reveals no stutters, thus I have to assume it's Songbird. I've tried disabling every addon I have (not many) and it still occurs. Closing it down and starting it back up occasionally fixes it for a short while. I've tried running SB with only one process affinity in the task manager, and tried adjusting the ms delay in the playback option menu, I can't find anything that has changed/helped the problem.

Latest soundcard drivers that I can find, all windows updates, I'm on Vista SP1.
