Library Rescan with a Right Click
Very simple: I would like a feature associated with right clicking on the Library icon. You should be able to rescan your default library directory upon right clicking on the library icon on the left side of the screen.

I agree with you Koshi. With a large library with much changes SongBird is not very valuable -
@Krights, read the rest of the thread. This is now available, just not in that way. Watch folders, coming in the next version, should help also.

Inappropriate?Heyo, this is now implemented as a power-users feature. To activate it open your "about:config" and change the key "songbird.commands.enableRescanItem" to true. Presto voila! You're in business.

NOPE not working, i've just installed RC3 and did what you said, even restarted songbird and that option is not available. This really sucks cause i have a huge library and have been fixing tags and adding music through another program and my library in songbird can't be updated

You may be running a too-old version. 1.0 will be out on Tuesday, if you can hang on till then, your problems should be solved. If you're in a rush, grab RC3 from the website and use that, it's almost identical to 1.0 except for a couple of bug fixes.

Inappropriate?I have the most fresh version (downloaded a week ago), and the suggested feature does not always work (sometimes yes (small library?), sometimes no (bib library?)
