Linux & NFTS file metadata not working
I have a linux distro running with songbird, but all my media files are on a nfts partition. When I add my music folder (import media) only the files in the root folder have metadata, the rest is not read. How can i fix this?

Inappropriate?You mean ntfs, right?
Is it a networked storage, or physically on your system?
If it's mounted correctly, it shouldn't be a problem.
Just be sure, that you have read/write access to those files! -

But i do have read/write permissions and it is physically on the same computer. Other applications use the same drive and had no problems with it -

mp3, wma, flac, ogg, etc.
What bitrate are those encoded in?
