LyricMaster lyrics not showing up on iTunes
Lyrics from LyricMaster don't show up on iPod classic (though I can see them when I open to the same library in iTunes). Thinking maybe some special characters or formatting are doing this, though it looks plain text to me when I paste it into a terminal.

Inappropriate?Hi Uxi,
In the future, please post comments concerning the LyricMaster add-on directly to the add-on's page here. In the meantime, I've posted your comments there for the add-on author. -
Inappropriate?I got my lyrics (written by LyricMaster) to display on my iPod touch by changing the language code to "eng". LyricMaster sets the language as "XXX" when it writes lyrics to ID3 tags, and for some reason my iPod didn't play nice with it. You're going to need Mp3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/), or if you don't want to you can find your own way of changing a bunch of "XXX"s to "eng". Also, the iPod can display lyrics that aren't in English, it probably just needs a valid language code. It will probably work if you change the language to, say, "jap", you're free to try doing that if you want.
In Mp3tag, load the directory of all your music. Two of the toolbar icons should have An uppercase A and a lowercase a. Click the one without an arrow, and a window about "Action Groups" should pop up. Click the button to make a new action group, name it whatever you want, and then click the "new" button again to add an action to the action group.
You'll want "replace" as the action type, so select that. Now, in the "Field" text entry, put "UNSYNCEDLYRICS", in "Original", put "XXX", and in "Replace with" put eng. I'm assuming you can put in any valid language code, as long as it exists, but unless you have crazy unicode and Asian characters, it shouldn't really matter what you put.
Run this action on whatever files you have, and then re-transfer the song to your iPod, hopefully it will show up.

Hey raycosm, thanks for posting those super helpful tips! -
Inappropriate?I can't understand the solution. My language is already in US English and not XXX, but still not all lyric are exported to iTune. Also, where is Mp3tag?
I’m confused
-
The problem is the Songbird breaks the ID3v2 specifications by writing an invalid language code for the lyrics. iTunes then ignores the lyrics because of the invalid language code. Mp3tag (a separate program; use the link in raycosm's post) can be used to correct the language code so that it conforms with the ID3v2 specification. -
Inappropriate? What does "load the directory of your musics" mean? Do you mean that in Mp3tag program, under File>Add directory, you enter a new directory?
What should I enter? Is it the directory that actually contains my music which in my case is directory called "backup for window mobile SDHC card/music"? Or is it a directory created by Songbird (I notice that it has created a "My document/My music/Songbird Music" directory), or is it the "My document/My music/iTune" directory?
Edit: Tried. Yes, the directory should be the one that contains the actual songs.
When you said after doing this you have to re-transfer the music to iPod/iPhone, you mean I must first uncheck all my music, do a sync; then check all music and do a sycn?
Edit: Tried and yes, that's the way to do it.
Further problem:
The above fixes many problems, but still many lyrics which were found and saved with Lyric Master does not appear on iTune with the above steps, although many Lyrics do get over.
Any more reasons why the rest are'nt getting through?
