Lyrics Tag support. (lyrics embedded in the files)
I think that it would be a very useful feature to be able to store and view the lyrics of the songs inside of the files so that it persists on devices and other computers and you can read them while you are offline.
There is a ID3v2 standard for storing chunks of data to contain the lyrics of the song inside an mp3 file (I think that this so convenient).
http://www.id3.org/Lyrics3v2 for version 2.0 and previously http://www.id3.org/Lyrics3
For OGG and similar container formats, a .LRC file could be embedded on them

Inappropriate? The lyric finder add-on already does this.
When it looks up song lyrics for whatever you may have playing, it will give you the option to save the lyrics, which are then saved to the music file directly.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Ahh, ok. I noticed some inconsistent pickup by iTunes of lyrics saved with Songbird; some songs displayed the lyrics in iTunes and some didn't. Dunno. Thanks @Toothpick1000.
I’m happy
