I installed Quicktime, After I installed Quicktime the songs were able to play just fine. To install Quicktime go to: http://www.apple.com/quicktime
I rebooted my computer after installation with Quicktime was complete and the song play! Know I am happy!

I’m very happy I'm listening to music again! I'm slowly discovering the features on Songbird and they're awesome!

I’m buggy too

That bug doesn't describe genome's problem (which I share). Gstreamer won't play m4a files. That bug is about mp3 files, and has been "fixed". -
Inappropriate?I had the same problem after installing Songbird on my Acer Aspire One loaded with Linpus. so, I'm back to using Amarok which isn't half as pretty to use.

Inappropriate?I'm having this same issue, ripped a CD using itunes, AAC format, 192. File is .m4a. Attempting to play it in Songbird results in a gstreamer error, exaatly as reported by genome.
I’m frustrated, I want to love this software!

Inappropriate? The bug still exists for m4a files on Windows XP.
I’m frustrated that I'll have to go back to using iTunes

Inappropriate?I have this too... I't isn't really fixed. Anyone know how to reopen the bug?
I’m sad I have to switch back to my other music player.

Inappropriate?About 75% of my songs won't work because of this. Having major problems with Itunes, so I wanted to give this software a try, but it's not working right either. Sadly, I will probably have to find another program if this isn't resolved.
