maintain subfilter selections
It would be helpful if the filter pane maintained selections in sub-filters when possible. Let's say I'm using the default filters: genre, artist, album. I select "rock" in the genre list and Elvis is one of the artists that shows up in the artists list. I see that name and decide I want to see all of Elvis' albums: country, gospel, etc. It would be nice if I could set genre back to "All" and leave the artist selected instead of clearing genre and then searching for artist again.
Same is true for album: I sometimes end up on a compilation album and would like to clear the artist filter to see all the songs on that album.

Inappropriate?I was just about to write the exact same comment (I think).
When using the 'Artist' and 'Album' filters: If I select an Artist, then select an Album by that Artist, and then select 'all' in the Artist filter in order to see all Artists listed for that particular album (as in a compilation album) - annoyingly the Album filter automatically jumps to 'all' as well, instead of remaining on the album which was selected. -
Inappropriate?Is this implemented in the current release? It doesn't seem to be. Also, should it apply to the search terms entered, i.e. if I do a text search then select an album then clear the search terms, the selection of album should persist.
