Memory leak
There is a memory leak in Songbird. When I start up Sunbird, it start with 90Mb ram - very high. 
I was listening to a TED podcast and notices that my memory just keeps on raising. Only 3min 30 sec later the memory is about 1.2Gb for SongBird.

I would file a bug in bugzilla, and also attach that file you were listening to.. especially since they are working on podcast support for the next release. ;-)
