MTP Icon Blurred?

When I'm syncing my walkman using songbird It shows an Icon / Picture of my MTP device on the sync window but this image is blurred. After some snooping around my device and identifying the icon file for my device is "DevIcon.fil" i discovered that it has a much larger icon in their than the one its scaling up and blurring, so why can't songbird just scale down the 256x256 icon ? I know this is a rather trivial problem but it's small details like this that help give songbird feel that bit more complete.
