No audio playing: "Failed to find a usable audio sink"

Track seems to be 'playing' but there is no audio on Windows Server 2008 build 1.1.2. build 1042. Everything was working fine previously, so I must have gotten into some corrupt state. WMP and VLC audio are working fine. Here are the Error console outputs:

Error: Permission denied to call method Location.toString

I've tried checking for muted program through the mixer, and everything looks ok. I've tried reinstalling the app, including removing the songbird2 folders from the appdata folder, but no luck. Looking for insight into why gstreamer seems to be failing, and how I can 'reset' things back to a good state.
