Not hearing any sound

Just installed songbird 1.2, and imported my music (all flac), and i can't hear any sound at all from them. Not muted, tried restarting, all the songs play correctly in Foobar2000 and VLC, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. running Songbird 1.2.0, Build 1146 (20090616030043), on windows xp. help?
