On Macs the red X button should not fully quit the program but allow it to continue running from the dock.
On the OSX version when you click the red exit button songbird should not quit fully. It should close the window but remain running/playing from the doc. Similar to how firefox, thunderbird, and itunes run. I can not tell you the number of times i have meant to close the window, and closed out of the entire program losing my playlist/nowplaying. I know i can use the minimize button but i would rather close the window and have less clutter.

Inappropriate?Hi Enjabain,
This incompatibility with Mac UI guidelines has been brought to the developers' attention. There appear to be two separate bugs in Bugzilla addressing this issue. You can track the comments on these work items by:
1. Going to the "people" box in the upper right hand corner of bug #1764 and bug #5058.
2. Add your email in the "add cc" box.
3. Scroll down and hit commit.
If you don't have a free bugzilla account, signing up is quick and easy and will allow you to share your feedbackdirectly with the development team.

Inappropriate? For the time being, people can use Command+H to hide the window, which keeps the program open and doesn't create a minimized window in the dock.

Inappropriate? When I close the Songbird window, it should not stop music playback and close. It should continue running as a background prcoess. This was unintuitive for me, using the product, and I should be able to keep the application open without a Window. (That's really music player 101, or ought to be.)

Inappropriate?Hi all
I don't know if I'm the only one who is a bit annoyed by this, but I would really like to see Songbird sent to the dock when I click the X button on the top left corner, instead of being shut down. (or send to tray on windows)
Songbird is a mediaplayer, so it is supposed to stay open all the time in the background right?
Now I know I could just hide it with Cmd+H, but being an iTunes user for a long time, I'm so used to it that I always click the X button instead.
Cheers
Nick
