Play count synching
One thing I miss from iTunes is when i plug in my iPod, the play counts/last time played don't update to when they were last played on the iPod. They are only displayed for when they were last played through the application itself. I know it seems like an odd request but, when paired with smart playlists (I know this has been suggested many times already!) I can make a playlist of songs I haven't listened to/listened to recently, a great toll with a huge library.

Inappropriate?I'm not sure I follow you. Are you saying that iTunes does not sync the track playcount/last time played with the iPod? Or are you saying that Songbird does not do that?
Songbird should update the track playcount with the number of plays on the iPod whenever the iPod is attached. It currently does not update the last played count. -
Inappropriate?I'm saying that songbird doesn't do it. When I plug in my iPod and open songbird I would like to see the last play count include the last time it was played on the iPod.

Inappropriate?I can add the last play time as a feature request. Is it not updating the playcount with the number of plays on the iPod? That would be a bug since it should already do that.
-
Inappropriate?Must be a bug then :( unless it's just me, is this a feature I need to configure myself? Or should it happen automatically?
-
Inappropriate?Have you configured your iPod to sync with Songbird? This is required for the playcount sync.
-
Inappropriate?Well I would assume so, since it does sync with it... Unless there's something else I've missed?! I'm not sure tbh.
-
Inappropriate?I can't reproduce the play count not syncing. I've created a bug (http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show...) to track the playcount not syncing issue.
