Play options in dock disappear

After a few days of using Songbird 1.1 on mac os x 10.4.11, the play options disappeared when right clicking the song bird icon in the dock.

So when right clicking, the options for play pause next etc, are gone, replaced with a tiny window icon (sometimes nothing at all except for hide quit show in finder etc)

While this isn't a huge deal it is more frustrating than anything, since the mini player doesnt like the stay on top and never saves position when resizing thus making it pointless :/, and how on vista minimize to tray doesn't work with x64 vista, this is the only thing that i can use without hassle, and now it's gone :<
