Playlist stops at certain mp3 files !!

I run songbird on Windows XP SP3,

As a reference, the problem started since I first installed songbird.

Can you perhaps pinpoint it, as to when it happens? Could it be, that it only happens with certain files?

Like I said in the original post, it does happen with "certain" mp3 files, If it would help somehow, I can send one or two to you for analysis. Just please tell me how.

I've noticed it's not always mp3 files either. Some of the songs it stops on in my playlist are ogg vorbis and FLAC encoded files.

Mine stops randomly, and always on a different file. Most of the time it will play the file fine, then the next thing you know, it just stops playing. If I go back a song or two and hit play it goes for a while (playing the song it stopped on the last time) only to stop again randomly. I use Windows Vista Home Premium with Songbird 1.1.2 build 1042, with a few standard add-ons and nothing has been tweaked.

This sounds like a known bug that occurs when playing files with different sampling rates (e.g. 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz). This bug seems to no longer occur in the nightly builds and thus will not be present in Songbird 1.2.
