Playlist track information is missing
In my Playlists wich I did with songbird only the number shows up. the title the artist the album ifomration, etc is missing. After every new start of songbird a few information of the tracks of the playlist is missing. When I start playing a track sometimes after about 5 sec the metadata got read and is not missing any more.

Can you try starting Songbird with a new profile just to eliminate your addons as the cause? Run songbird -P to create a new profile. -

I've had this issue under xubuntu 8.04 and Windows XP (with version .07)
I've trashed the profile three times, to no avail -

I've had this issue under xubuntu 8.04 and Windows XP, running on seperate machines. Although the problem is present when I poplulate the library
The directory I'm importing has 10,200 tracks. That said, the tracks all seem to be the same ones missed each time, no matter how many times I import.
Both versions on seperate OS's miss the same tracks, (roughly 3300 of them)
I've trashed the library three times on the xubuntu box, once on the XP box, no difference

Inappropriate?Not here, network mount. However I have fixed my issue, (as well as another issue - http://getsatisfaction.com/songbird/t...)
Whatever tagging software I used in the past (sorry, I can't recall what) seemed to be culprit. Using something like tagscanner (http://www.xdlab.ru/en/) and updating the tags fixed it. Its a workaround I know, but I've had no issues with SB since I redid my tags :)
