Preventing automatic import of songs to the library
Using Songbird 1.1b2, is it possible to prevent Songbird from permanently adding files to the library outside of the specified watch folder? I often add temporary files just to sample them and would prefer not to have them in the library unless they're properly tagged, organized, and placed in my music folder.

Inappropriate? If you put a song into songbird, it becomes part of the library.
That's the way it just is.
To get rid of it, you have to delete it again.
Maybe you could try out the directory browser addon and see, if it accomplishes something in the way, you want to use the bird.

Is it possible to integrate a possibility to exclude some files or some directory ?
Delete manually some files in the library is impossible way... ;) -
Inappropriate? As it is right now, you specify ONE directory and everything in that directory gets scanned. It's just how it works.
Watch Folders?
Same thing. Only difference is, that there can only be one watch folder right now.
That's the way it is.
But we're aware of this and working on it.
