Read Album Art from File
Hello,
I currently have all my album art stored as "folder.jpg" in the directory of the album flac files. Is there any way that Songbird can read the album art information in this format or does it actually have to read it from the metadata?

Inappropriate? So, looks like the answer is, not yet, but soon: http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Releases...

Inappropriate?Doesn't Songbird do this already? It does for me, a folder.jpg in each album folder.

Inappropriate? It worked with previous versions that had the Album Art Manager Add-On. However, it's not currently available for 1.0. It should be incorporated into the basic program, IMHO.

Inappropriate?Laura - I believe that the functionality that you have posted the link to is not what this thread relates to (the upcoming functionality will allow downloading of missing album art).
However we already have the album art stored in the album folder on our hard drives, yet Songbird does not seem to be able to locate it correctly.
In my Air - 10,000hz Legend music folder I have the following (hidden) album art jpgs:
AlbumArt_{F11CF951-459E-42FA-B899-DFAE261F35C7}_Large.jpg
AlbumArt_{F11CF951-459E-42FA-B899-DFAE261F35C7}_Small.jpg
AlbumArtSmall.jpg
Folder.jpg
Yet Songbird still states that there is no album art available for this artist.
Is there anyway Songbird can use existing album art, rather than downloading more un-necessary images to my hard drive?
Thanks
I’m sad
