Remarks over 'Managed mode' from a happy user
I've started using the managed mode. It is great and worked really well. Though I still have some remarks:
It wasn't clear songbird would copy the music to the managed folder. I though it would move all files into the folders. Maybe let the user choose:
<radiobutton> Move all files into the managed folder
<radiobutton> Copy all files into the managed folder
Secondly because songbird was copying my large library, I ran out of harddisk space. Luckily (or unfortunate) I ran linux, so I didn't notice my harddisk was full. In windows everything becomes slow if your disk is full. In linux it doesn't become slow and I didn't noticed it. I thought there was something wrong with songbird, because it do further with building the managed folder. Maybe give an nice error when songbird hasn't enough room for building the managed folder.
I don't have a big problem with those issues, but it would spared me 15min of my life :p
And this would be nice, because I use songbird to make my life easier!!
ps. Can't wait till songbird can download artist and track information from an internet database. This would add so much value to the managed mode.

Inappropriate?I definitely have this same issue and would love the ability to move these files rather than have them copied. I have a fairly large library and would rather be able to move these files rather than have them copied.
Even if this wasn't a feature that could be added to Songbird, some sort of workaround to be able to do this manually would be nice as well (migrating an iTunes Library to a new location on the same drive).
