Remodel Mini Player More like iTunes
The current mini player is good, but there should be window controls on the window. Also, perhaps a preference can be added so when you click the maximize button, it switches into the mini player. Basically, make it more like the way iTunes does the mini player.

Inappropriate?I don't know about adding the window buttons, but there are two huge things:
1) Keystroke shortcut.
2) Collapsible panes in the miniplayer! I don't rate any music in my library, yet I have to deal with the extra real estate taken up by the ratings bar in Mini Player mode. Both the ratings and song-title/seek bar should be collapsible through click+dragging, as in iTunes.
Dead serious, lack of keystroke shortcut is one of the things keeping me from switching over from iTunes.

Inappropriate?Those are really good ideas, I especially like the idea of collapsable parts of the miniplayer :-) Let's hope an add-on developer jumps in and creates a new Miniplayer for us.

Inappropriate?I just want the keystroke / hotkeys option!!! ARG! I like my iTunes, but why does it have to be opened for me to use my hotkeys? Someone listen please!

Inappropriate?I've moved on. I'm using a product called SkiniTunes now. Hotkeys, skinnable player(s), there's a mini and a skini player. It downloads lyrics right to my itunes library, which is awesome since i sync my iphone with itunes and they lyrics download to my phone now! Anyways, it's worth a try. Go download a free version of it @ www.skinitunes.com
